“Homeopathy for Plants”, the book which makes  gardeners and farmers happy

The review session of the book “Homeopathy for Plants” written by Christian Maute and Cornelia Maute, was held with the presence of its translator and researchers of this field. “This book can resolve many problems of farmers and gardeners and it will have high economic efficiency”. Negar Pourmohamad said regarding the application of this treatment method for plants.

According to Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the  review session of the book “Homeopathy for Plants” was held with the presence of Negar Pourmohamad, representative of Atlas Peydayesh Publication (Book publisher), Saba Hosseinian, homeopathy researcher and instructor, Mohammadreza Arefi, critic of the book and plant protector and Mahnaz Moghaddasi, editor of the book on Wednesday, December 21, in Sarai-e-Ahl-e- Ghalam.

At the beginning of this ceremony, With regard to writing and translation of this book, Pourmohamad said:

“The original version of the book “Homeopathy for Plants” has been re-written two or three times and it was translated into Persian about two years later.”

This book introduces the approaches of application of homeopathic treatment method to the Iranian Plant Protection Society for the first time. This science needs more research in Iran and the translators can provide more information for the audiences of this science through more translations.

She pointed to the non-application of copyright law in Iran and said, “Regarding  our experience in copyright, we decided to obtain all of our books from the original publisher by copyright payment. We paid money for this book and we negotiated with our German counterpart before translation. The images of this book have high quality. We invited the book writers in its Introduction Ceremony which was held in May and fortunately they participated in this ceremony”.

Pourmohamad said ,“At  first, this book can resolve many problems of farmers and gardeners. Agro-homeopathic method (Homeopathy in Agriculture) reinforces the plant and protects the health of plants for a long time. This method not only protects the health of plants, but also it increases the health of soil, underground waters and air”.

Pourmohamad pointed to the simplified application of this method by  gardeners and farmers for plants and said, “Since the Agro-homeopathy leads to the reduction of plants’ need to medicine, the activities of gardeners and farmers will be simplified. The healthy plants are more resistant against the various weather conditions. Indeed, a healthy plant removes the effect of weather conditions in itself and it is efficient economically. It should be noted that the Agro-homeopathy is prevalent in countries such as the U.S.A., Russia, Malaysia, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and many countries of the Middle East and this method is verified by the American Food and Drug Association (FDA)”.

This translator continued her speech regarding the economic efficiency of this method and said,  “Saving is a part of this procedure. The healthy plant can produce the pretty colored fruit in high quantity which will be profitable for gardeners or farmers. This profit will  belong to both farmers and community. One of the main specifications of the homeopathic medicines is their role in increasing the soil ability in water absorption which leads to saving water”.

According to the statements of Pourmohamad, the most important specification of the homeopathy is related to its unique ability in prevention of plant diseases.

There is an urgent necessity for  specialist human force in this field since  people’s awareness of time and the amount of medicine which should be given to plants is very important. Unfortunately, such person is not in Iran yet, but the good news is that its phases and training requirements have been prepared.

“This book is one of the valid sources in the field of homeopathy. Therefore, this is not simply a book; indeed, it is beyond a book. The applications and effects of this book are so numerous that the  criticism leveled at it cannot be much effective. I would like to make some suggestions”. Arefi said about this book in the rest of this ceremony.

He added that “At first, unfortunately, this book has been written just for homeopaths and those who are familiar with this science, not the public. Therefore, when we submitted this book to the plant protectors, they did not understand its approaches”.

Some suggested points

Arefi said, “There are some approaches for removing this problem. Firstly, homeopaths can explain the method of these approaches by this book in universities and present their method in scientific assemblies completely. I believe that in order to more familiarize scholars with this treatment method in plants, there is need for consultation with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in order to add one or two courses for students of plant protection field in universities”.

He continued, “Participation in the Book Exhibition is one of the approaches for introduction of this book to the plant protectors and persons who look for information in this field. This book is not known too much and I believe that if this treatment method is comprehended by academics, definitely more university students will perform their research in this direction”.

Arefi said,  “Writing the preface of this book by a plant protector who has complete information regarding homeopathy will be effective in attracting audiences. I wish the preface of this valuable book can be written by a plant protector who is familiar with the homeopathic treatment, so this can make a bridge between plant protectors and homeopaths”.

This critic pointed to the recognition of homeopathic medicines by the public and said, “Recognition of the medicines of this treatment method is very important since these medicines are not known and therefore their usage will be with delay. I suggest that some meetings should be held with authorities of the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad in order to remove this problem and obtain the permission for distribution or production of these medicines”.

In the rest of this ceremony, the film of introduction ceremony of this book with the presence of its writers in Iran was played.

Homeopathy as a new method for plants treatment

Hosseinian pointed to the importance of homeopathy science for humans, animals and plants and said,  “I would like to define the homeopathy. Homo means “similar” and pathy means “suffering or pain”. Therefore, it means that we should encounter the disease in a similar way instead of fighting with that intended disease.” She added , “Fighting with the disease and its destruction in human and animal  has a long story and this method represents different results. The most advanced method of homeopathy is for humans and countries apply this method in an advanced level. Application of this method for plants is very new worldwide and it has not made its foundations yet. Fortunately, Iran has been keeping up with the world in this regard.

Hosseinian said, “The thing which separates the plant protection field from homeopathy is that their treatment methods are different completely. The plant protection field should be used in recognition of plants and diseases, but for treatment of diseases, there is need for homeopathy in order to align these two methods with each other”.

This researcher pointed to the lack of this treatment method for plants and said, “Homeopathy can be applied by plant protectors and herbal therapists easily since its vacant place can be felt strongly. Therefore, there is more precision regarding the bridge between plant protection and homeopathy since it may not have any result. Fortunately, the medicine production for homeopathy is so simple and there is no need for advanced machinery and devices.
